Community Podcast Studio Now Open!

The Downtown Business Association, with the help of the Montgomery Advertiser, is proud to announce the opening of Montgomery's first Podcast Studio, open to the public and free for use!
The idea was born from one of our Idea Share monthly meetings to give the city and the people active an opportunity to freely create, promote, and voice. We are excited to bring this to Montgomery and see what stories and efforts are born in The Downtown Podcast Studio.
Located in Advertiser building, the equipment available includes one Xenyz X1204usb 12-input mixer, pre-amp, studio-grade compressor, two audio-technical Cardioid Condenser Side Address Microphones, and two Rode mic stands.
The Advertiser will provide a secure, soundproofed audio studio in the newsroom that will have hard-wired and Wi-Fi internet access available. Each party will provide their own laptop or portable computing device for web access or audio.
Access to the studio is free from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday, as long as there is 24-hour notice of need. To schedule your studio time, contact Digital Editor Steve Arnold (551-0348) or Debbie Goddard, executive assistant to Publisher Robert Granfeldt. Again, there is NO FEE being charged by either the Montgomery Advertiser or the Downtown Business Association for use of space or equipment!
